There is so much to do in the area and, having a private parking space, you can leave the car as everything is on the doorstep.

Take a boat from Torquay Marina across to Brixham for a great day out, or perhaps visit the Princess Theatre which has some amazing shows throughout the year.

Living Coasts, where penguins roam freely, Babbacombe Model Village, and a step back in time at Bygones, are all just a few minutes’ walk away, and Kent’s Cavern is also worth a visit.

Torquay is also the birthplace of the world-famous crime writer Agatha Christie, who wrote many of her novels at the Grand Hotel which can be viewed from the balcony. Many holidaymakers follow in her footsteps along the Agatha Christie Mile and discover what inspired her, or even visit her summer home, Greenaway.

For those in search of some tranquillity, Cockington Country Park offers miles of woodland and parkland to explore.

Dartmouth, Salcombe, Paignton, Dartmoor, Exeter and Plymouth are all within easy reach by car.

Paignton Zoo is only a short distance away and there are river and sea cruises, as well as steam train trips nearby.
